Riverbend football series coming to Wisconsin

A Division III post-season college football bowl series is coming to Wisconsin this year.  The Riverbend Bowl Series will consist of two games at Neenah High School on Saturday, November 21, at 12:00 and 5:00PM.  One of the participating teams will be from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, which includes Wisconsin schools Concordia of Mequon, Lakeland, St. Norbert and Wisconsin Lutheran.  The series is being organized by the American Rivers Conference, which has member schools in Iowa and Nebraska.  This series gives another post-season opportunity to NACC schools, as a team from that conference will also play in the Lakefront Bowl against a team from the Midwest Conference.  This year’s Lakefront Bowl is also set for November 21, and will be played at Carroll University in Waukesha.
