Marquette sophomore Nigel James is one of 20 players named to the Bob Cousy Award pre-season watch list.  The Cousy Award is given each year to the premier point guard in NCAA Division I men’s basketball.  James was named the Big East Freshman of the Year last season, and also named to the conference All-Academic team.  He averaged 16 points and five assists per game for Marquette last year.
