The Green Bay Packers will have to wait a little longer for edge rusher Micah Parsons to return to action. Parsons is still recovering from the torn achilles tendon he suffered last November, and he hoped to return to practice this week. Packers coach Matt LeFleur now says Parsons is not quite ready to resume football activity, but he is getting closer. Meanwhile, the Packers have another serious injury on defense, as defensive tackle Javon Hargrave suffered a torn achilles in Sunday’s win over Chicago. That will sideline Hargrave for the remainder of this season. Hargrave signed a multi-year contract with Green Bay after he was cut by Minnesota during the summer. He is in his eleventh NFL season, and has also played for Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Minnesota, and has 49 sacks in his pro career.
