WIAC schools to receive facility upgrades

Two WIAC schools are planning facility upgrades.  The UW Board of Regents is approving projects at UW-Whitewater and UW-River Falls.  Whitewater will receive $7,400,000 to replace roofing at its basketball arena, the Williams Center.  And River Falls will get about $6,000,000 for improvements to its football facility, Ramer Field.  This project includes replacement for the stadium turf and track, grandstand renovations and some bleacher installation to improve accessibility.
