UW-Platteville suspends cross country season

UW-Platteville is temporarily suspending its men’s cross country season, while it investigates allegations of hazing and student-athlete misconduct.  In addition, head coach James Akita is on paid administrative leave.  Neither the university nor the WIAC will offer further comment on the situation while an investigation is underway.
