Former Marshfield Tiger track and cross country standout Natalie Scharenbroch is off to a good start in her collegiate career at Minnesota-Crookston. Natalie is a freshman in the Crookston women’s cross country program this fall, and ran this week in her first collegiate meet, the Augustana of South Dakota Twilight Meet. Natalie finished 34-th overall, with a time of 18:33. That is the third-fastest 5-K time in program history, and the fastest time ever recorded by a Crookston freshman. The Crookston women run again on Friday at the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota.
