UW-Stevens Point announces incoming men’s basketball class

UW-Stevens Point is announcing its incoming men’s basketball freshman class, and it includes two players from the Wisconsin Valley Conference.  One is 6’3 Brody Gilbertson of Wisconsin Rapids, and the other is 6’3 Sivan Dinga of Stevens Point.  Gilbertson averaged 23 points, five rebounds and three assists per game for Rapids last season.  Dinga averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game, while shooting 35% from three-point range.  The other newcomers to the Pointer program this fall are 6’6 Joe Daly of New London; 6’2 Mason Brone of Gale-Ettrick-Trempeleau; 6’1 Cal Loose of Port Washington; and 6’3 Evan Kern of New Berlin-West.
