Carroll names new womens coach

Carroll University in Waukesha is naming Brianna Murphy as its new women’s basketball coach.  Murphy spent the last two seasons assisting at Division II Maryville, and she is also the former head coach at Monona Grove High School.  Carroll was 23-6 last season under former head coach Lindsay Schultz, who is leaving Carroll to replace Marshfield’s Brad Fischer as the head coach at UW-Oshkosh.  Fischer is leaving Oshkosh to join the women’s basketball staff at Nebraska.
