New Conference for girls wrestling

Schools in the Wisconsin Valley and Great Northern Conferences will combine this fall to form one conference for girls wrestling.  The league will be known as Northern Girls Wrestling, and all 13 schools in the two leagues will participate.  The league will include Marshfield High School, as well as other schools from the Wisconsin Valley Conference–Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, DC Everest, Wausau-East and Wausau-West.  Great Northern Conference schools participating are Mosinee, Medford, Merrill, Rhinelander, Antigo, Lakeland and Tomahawk.
