Barten returns to Giants

Stratford native and former Wisconsin Badger lineman Ben Barten is back with the NFL New York Giants.  Barten signed with the Giants as a free agent this summer, but was cut on July 30.  He was picked up by the New York Jets, and then waived by the Jets earlier this week. The Giants, however, have several injuries along their defensive line, so they are re-signing Barten.  Ben played in 44 games for Wisconsin between 2022 and 2025 and had 63 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks.
