Fredrick to coach Marshfield girls soccer

Marshfield High School is naming Kristi Fredrick as its girl’s soccer coach for the spring of 2027.  Fredrick succeeds Kelly Ongna, who coached the Tigers for the last three seasons after replacing longtime coach Steve Lindner in 2022.  Fredrick is a Marshfield High School graduate, who has been involved in soccer for more than 25 years.  She has assisted in the Tiger boy’s program since 2021, and served as varsity assistant and goalkeeper coach for the Tiger girls last season.  Fredrick also worked as head coach of the Marshfield Middle School team between 2022 and 2025, and also coached at Columbus High School.  The Tiger girls finished 3-11-4 during the 2026 season, and were 16-32-11 in three seasons under Ongna.
