UW-River Falls receives $1,000,000 endowment

The athletic department at UW-River Falls is receiving a $1,000,000 donation from alum Paul Dykstra and his wife Karen, to establish the Falcons Athletics Endowment for Excellence.  The endowment will provide resources to support initiatives focused on enhancing the experiences of River Falls student-athletes.  Dykstra played on the Falcons’ 1983 men’s hockey team that won the NAIA national championship.  He also played on the River Falls’ golf team.  After receiving his BA in accounting at River Falls, Dykstra earned his MBA at St. Thomas of Minnesota.  He went on to become the Chairman, President and CEO of Viad Corporation of Phoenix
