Area students chosen for WIAA Leadership team

Three area students will be members of the WIAA Leadership team for the 2026-27 school year.  Members of the Leadership team serve as ambassadors for other student-athletes while learning about the sports industry.  Their involvement gives student-athletes a voice in WIAA decisions, and assists in supporting, educating and advancing the goals of interscholastic athletics.  Local student-athletes chosen for the Leadership team for next year include Ben Hartwig of Athens; Alec Miller of Marathon; and Ryley Darr of Northland Pines.  The Leadership team will take part in an orientation meeting in Stevens Point in August.
