The WIAA will continue to hold the state track and field championships in LaCrosse through the spring of 2034. The WIAA is extending its partnership with the city of LaCrosse and UW-LaCrosse, and will continue to hold the state meet at Roger Harring Stadium at the Veterans Memorial Field complex. The WIAA state meet moved from Madison to LaCrosse in the spring of 1990, and often draws more than 20,000 spectators during the two-day event. It is estimated that the state meet brings about $4,000,000 in extra revenue to the LaCrosse area each year.
