Koenig named UW-Platteville Athletic Director

UW-Platteville is naming Sam Koenig as its new Athletic Director.  Koenig has served as the men’s soccer coach at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa for the last four seasons.  Prior to that assignment, he worked in the Platteville athletic department as Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations.  Koenig is a Dubuque native, and a Loras graduate.  Koenig replaces former Platteville Athletic Director Mike Knipe, who was fired in December for violating university policies.
