UW-Oshkosh to add flag football

UW-Oshkosh plans to add a women’s flag football program, hopefully in the fall of 2026.  Oshkosh would be the fourth Wisconsin university to offer women’s flag football, as UW-Stout, Lakeland of Sheboygan and Marian of Fond du Lac now field teams.  Flag football is also offered by several Minnesota schools, including Bethel, Concordia of Moorhead, Gustavus Adolphus and Northwestern of St. Paul, and there are now 63 NCAA Division III schools nationwide that offer the sport.  A national search for the first Oshkosh flag football coach is now underway.
