The Marquette men’s basketball program will play a home-and-home series with
Purdue over the next two seasons. The Golden Eagles will face Purdue in a
home game at the Fiserv Forum in November of 2024, and there will be a
return game at Purdue the following season. Purdue advanced to the Division
I national championship game this season, losing to Connecticut in the
national final. This game is a contract solely between these two schools
and not part of the Gavitt Games, which previously matched Big East schools
against schools from the Big Ten. That series has been discontinued because
of the addition of four west coast schools to the Big Ten next season.
