The Marshfield Tiger girls basketball program will change head coaches next season, and a familiar face will be back on the sidelines. Taylor Varsho is stepping down after six seasons as Tiger coach, and former coach Heidi Michaelis will return as head coach. Taylor played for Heidi between 2008 and 2012, and is Marshfield's career girls basketball scoring leader, with 1370 points. She became head coach in 2018, and compiled a record of 82-58 in six seasons, winning 20 games in 2023. Michaelis is the winningest girls basketball coach in Tiger history, compiling a record of 305-103 between 2001 and 2018. He teams won 20 games or more nine times, won eight Wisconsin Valley Conference championships, and advanced to the WIAA Division I state tournament four time
