Northland to cancel softball season

Northland College in Ashland is cancelling the remainder of it’s
softball season due to a number of injuries. The Lumberjills began the
season with 13 players on their team, including Kennedy Gruhlke of Fall
Creek, and Alyssa Hoffman and Hailey Minnema of Chequamegon. Several
players have been sidelined, however, leaving the program with a
minimal number of players. The Northland softball team will finish
this season 0-19.
