WBCA Elite Academic Awards

Several area players are receiving Elite Academic All-State honors from
the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.  To receive this honor, a
student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5, as
well as an ACT score of at least 25.  Players are nominated by their
coaches, and a WBCA panel selects 15 boys and girls to receive this
honor.  Awards for this year will go to Teegan Streit of Edgar; Grant
Warren of Marathon; Brogan Korger of Osseo-Fairchild; Kacy Eggebrecht
of Phillips; and Sarah Trzinski of Rosholt.
