Two area players will participate in the WIAA Girls Basketball Three-
Point Challenge at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Saturday.
Pittsville's Reese Grimm, who shot 46% from three-point range this
season, will be a Division V participant, and Kacy Eggebrecht of
Phillips will represent Division IV. Kacy shot 49% on three this
season. The other participants are Rainey Welson of Hortonville and
Natalie Mueller of Homestead in Division I; Addison Pytleski of Green
Bay-Southwest and Sarah Aleknavicius of Grafton in Division II; Lucia
Jensen of Brookfield Academy and Tannah Radloff of Prairie du Chien in
Division III; Lindsey Schadewaldt of New Glarus in Division IV; and
Madolyn Haffner of Gresham in Division V. The Three-Point Challenge
will take place Saturday morning at 9:30 at the Resch Center, prior to
the Division V girls basketball championship game. The top two
shooters statewide in each division are selected for the Three-Point
Challenge, although players whose teams advance to the state tournament
are not eligible, and their spots are taken by those players next in
line in the final Three-Point Challenge standings.
