Colby hires Rosemeyer as head football coach

By Gene DeLisio Jan 16, 2024 | 2:32 PM
Colby High School is naming Logan Rosemeyer as it's new head football
coach. Rosemeyer succeeds Jim Hagen, who is stepping down after
serving as Hornets' head coach for the last seven seasons. Hagen
compiled a record of 57-17, and led Colby to a state championship in
2021. Rosemeyer is the son of longtime Gilman coach Robin Rosemeyer,
and nephew of former Colby coach Jeff Rosemeyer. He is a teacher on
the staff at Colby, and has served as Hornets' defensive coordinator
for the last four seasons. Logan Rosemeyer will be just the fourth
head football coach at Colby since Duane Teska was first hired for
that position in 1964.
