Beschorner leaving UW-Eau Claire

UW-Eau Claire will have a new head football coach next season.  Wesley Beschorner is stepping down as Blugolds’ coach to become Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Division II University of Sioux Falls.  Beschorner served as Eau Claire head coach for four seasons, including the 2020 COVID-19 season, and was 8-22 overall, and 3-18 in the WIAC.  Several area student-athletes played for Beschorner at Eau Claire this season, including Matt Donovan of Marshfield, and  Trey Fitzgerald and Evan Utphall of Mosinee.
