The Milwaukee Brewers are avoiding salary arbitration with utilityman Mike Brosseau by signing Brosseau to a one-year contract for 2023, worth $1,400,000. Brosseau played in 69 games for Milwaukee in 2022, and hit .255, with six home runs and 23 rbis. He played the previous three seasons with Tampa Bay, and is a career .248 hitter, with 22 major league home runs. Brosseau can play first base, second base, third base and also right field and left field. He even pitched in four games during his tenure with Tampa Bay.
