Aurora is the defending NACC champion, and is ranked 20-th in the D3football.com preseason football poll. The NACC champion will receive an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III football playoffs, while the second place team will play a team from the Midwest Conference in the Lakefront Bowl on November 18 at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee.
