Brewers lose Castro to A’s

The Milwaukee Brewers are losing a key member of their front office staff.  Senior Vice President of Player Development Cam Castro is leaving Milwaukee to become the General Manager of the A’s.  Castro has been with the Milwaukee front office since 2019, and has served as a minor league pitching coach, pitching coordinator, director of pitching development and vice president of player development.  He was promoted to his most recent position following the 2024 season.  Castro is also the former head baseball coach at Division II Lake Erie College.  The A’s will play one more season in Sacramento before moving permanently to their new home in Las Vegas for the 2027 season.
