The Green Bay Packers are signing veteran guard Cordell Volson to their practice squad, and Volson could play for Green Bay as early as this week. Packer quarterback Jordan Love was under frequent pressure during last Sunday’s loss to Minnesota, and Offensive Coordinator Adam Stenavich said after that game the Packers would rotate several linemen during practice this week. Volson was released by Tennessee during roster cuts last week. He started 48 games for Cincinnati between 2022 and 2024, but missed all of last season due to injury. Volson played college football at North Dakota State.
