Baierl to join WIAA staff

Former Columbus High School student-athlete Addison Baierl is joining the WIAA staff as assistant to Assistant Director Melissa Gehring.  Addison attended Columbus High School between 2016 and 2020, and is ninth on the Dons’ career girls basketball scoring list with 845 points. She then attended UW-Platteville, where she was a three-time captain of the Pioneers’ women’s basketball team.  Addison earned her degree in Health and Human Performance from Platteville in the spring of 2025, and spent last season assisting in the Pioneers’ women’s basketball program.  At the WIAA, Addison will assist with athletic-related services for cross country, girls basketball, volleyball and track and field, and also work in conference realignment and with the Wisconsin Athletic Directors Association.
