Barten signs with Giants practice squad

Stratford native and former Wisconsin Badger defensive lineman Ben Barten is joining the New York Giants’ practice squad.  Barten signed with the Giants as a free agent following the NFL draft.  He was cut by the Giants in July and signed with the Jets, but was re-signed by the Giants when the Jets placed him on waivers.  Ben played in 44 games for Wisconsin between 2022 and 2025, and had 63 tackles, two sacks and four tackles for loss.
