Benton signs extension with Pittsburgh

Former Wisconsin Badger defensive tackle Keeanu Benton is signing a contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers.  It’s  four-year contract, worth $72,000,000, making Benton the highest paid defensive lineman in Steelers’ history.  Benton was chosen by Pittsburgh on the second round of the 2023 NFL draft, and has 123 tackles, eight sacks and nine tackles for loss in three NFL seasons.  He also had 80 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and nine sacks for the Badgers between 2019 and 2022.
