Marian names Jones as men’s basketball coach

Marian University of Fond du Lac is naming Tyler Jones as its new men’s basketball coach.  Jones succeeds Drake Diener, who is leaving Marian to become the boys basketball coach and Athletic Director at Fond du Lac High School.  Jones assisted Diener on the Marian staff for the last three seasons.  He is a former head coach at Concordia of Chicago, and also coached the Connecticut Pride of the Continental Basketball Association during the 1998-99 season.  Jones has also worked on the basketball staffs at DePaul and Aurora.
