UW-Eau Claire is naming Hannah Iverson as its new women’s basketball coach. Iverson is a former basketball standout at Eau Claire-North High School, who played college basketball at UW-Green Bay. She has spent the last seven seasons as women’s coach at UW-Stout, with a record of 125-74. At Eau Claire, Iverson succeeds longtime coach Tonja Englund, who is retiring after coaching the Blugolds for 26 seasons. Sydney Subke of Neillsville and Reese Grimm of Pittsville will be sophomores in the Eau Claire program next season, and Hailey Klumb of Marshfield will also join the Blugolds’ program in the fall.
