UW-Oshkosh will reinstate its men’s soccer program in the fall of 2027. Oshkosh has a successful history of men’s soccer, as the school sponsored that sport between 1984 and 2015. During that time, Oshkosh compiled a men’s soccer record of 423-122-55, won two WIAC regular season championships, and played in the NCAA Division III tournament 14 times, advancing to the national semi-finals in four different seasons. Oshkosh dropped the sport in 2015, as only three other WIAC schools sponsored men’s soccer at that time, and men’s soccer was not a sponsored sport by the conference. Since then, Eau Claire, River Falls, Stevens Point and Stout have all started men’s soccer programs, while Platteville and Whitewater continue to play men’s soccer. UW-Oshkosh will now begin searching for a coaching staff to recruit student-athletes for the fall of 2027.
