LaCrosse and St. John’s to meet in football

Two Division III football powerhouses will square off in a non-conference series in coming seasons.  UW-LaCrosse and St. John’s of Minnesota will face each other in football games in 2026 and 2028.  The game scheduled for next season will be at St. John’s on September 5, and the return game will be at LaCrosse on September 2, 2028.  St. John’s holds a 6-1 edge over LaCrosse in the all-time series between the two schools, with the last four meetings coming in the NCAA Division III playoffs.  The last time the two schools met during the regular season was when LaCrosse beat St. John’s 21-0 in 1972.
