UW-River Falls football to national semi-finals

The UW-River Falls football team is still alive in the NCAA Division III playoffs.  The Falcons won their quarter-final game with Wheaton of Illinois on Saturday 46-21.  River Falls is now 12-1 and will play Johns Hopkins of Maryland in the Division III semi-finals at River Falls Saturday at 12:00.  In the other semi-final, John Carroll of Ohio will play at North Central of Illinois on Saturday.  The winning teams then meet in the national championship game at Canton, Ohio on January 4.
