Area teams receive Academic All-State recognition

Several area high school basketball teams are receiving team
Academic All-State honors from the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches
Association.  These are high school basketball programs which
have attained some of the highest overall grade point averages
among schools in their divisions.  In boys Division V, Rib Lake
has the highest team GPA in the state at 3.895.  Stratford is
second in boys Division IV at 3.836.  In girls basketball,
Tomahawk is the overall leader in Division III at 3.973, and
Pittsville is third in Division V at 3.907.
