The Green Bay Packers are selecting Owen-Withee football coach Terry Laube as their High School Coach of the Week. Laube is finishing his 36-th season as Blackhawks head coach, and his team won the WIAA Eight-Man football championship last weekend by beating Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas 50-36 at Wisconsin Rapids. It's the first eight-man championship for Owen-Withee, although Laube also led the Blackhawks to 11-man titles in 1992, 1999 and 2014. Laube is a native of Owen and began assisting in the Blackhawks program in 1987, and took over for Virgil Oelke as head coach in 1989. Laube has a record of 221-142 in 35 seasons as head coach at Owen-Withee.
