Goettl’s Mankato football team makes Division II playoffs

Marshfield's Joey Goettl will play at least one more college football game
at Minnesota State-Mankato.  Joey is a senior defensive back at Mankato, and
the Mavericks are receiving a bid to the NCAA Division II football playoffs.
Mankato will play a first round game on Saturday, at Augustana of South
Dakota.  Both teams are 8-3, and Augustana beat Mankato on October 26, 34-
16.  Joey has 31 tackles, two interceptions and five pass break-ups for
Mankato this season, and has four interceptions and 108 tackles in four
seasons of football at Mankato.
