Megan Duffy is stepping down as women's basketball coach at Marquette to become the head coach at Virginia Tech. Duffy served as Marquette coach for the last five seasons, compiling a record of 110-46, including 64-30 in the Big East Conference. During Duffy's tenure, Marquette reached post-season play four times, making three trips to the NCAA tournament. She also spent two seasons as head coach at Miami of Ohio. Duffy is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and a four-time letterwinner at Notre Dame, where she scored more than 1000 points during her college career.
