The Milwaukee Brewers are trading outfielder Tyrone Taylor and pitcher Adrian Houser to the New York Mets for minor league pitcher Coleman Crow. The trade will allow the Brewers to clear some payroll space by trading two players who are eligible for salary arbitration. Crow has actually played in the Anaheim farm system for the last four seasons, and was traded to New York last June, but underwent elbow surgery in August. He only pitched in four minor league games last season, but appeared in 24 games in 2022 at the 'AA' level, and was 9-3 with a 4.85 ERA. Houser pitched in Milwaukee for seven seasons, and ws 31-34, winning ten games in 2021. Taylor is a career .239 hitter in five seasons with the Brewers.
