Welch wins once at D-III wrestling championships

Auburndale’s Sloan Welch earned one win this week at the NCAA Division III wrestling championships.  Sloan wrestled at 285 for UW-Eau Claire and won his first round match, but then lost in the second round to the tournament’s number-seven seed, and lost again to the number-13 seed.  Sloan is a junior at Eau Claire this season.
