Marshfield Tiger basketball standout Chris Pohl established a new school record during the Tigers’ 81-59 win over Appleton-East on Tuesday night. Chris scored 31 points, and was 13 of 13 on the foul line in that game, and that sets a new Tiger boys basketball record for best free throw percentage in a game. The old record was 12 of 12 set by Charlie Aslakson in a game against Stevens Point during the 1959-60 season. Two other Tigers, Luke Zuiker and Alec Hinson were 11 of 11 from the foul line during a game. The city record for best free throw percentage in a game is held by Paul Mancl, who was 17 of 17 from the line for the Columbus Dons during a game in 1968.
