UW-Superior plans baseball-softball complex

UW-Superior plans to construct a new on-campus baseball and softball complex.  The project will cost close to $15,000,000, and will be built next to Superior’s hockey facility, Wessman Arena.  The complex will include artificial turf, dugouts, bullpens, batting cages, spectator seating and lighting.  UW-Superior is also planning a fundraising campaign to support additional features at this complex.   The school hopes to have the project completed by the fall of 2027.  The UW-Superior baseball and softball teams now play at the NBC Spartan Complex, which is adjacent to Superior High School.
