Green Bay Packer receiver Jayden Reed has a fracture in his
left foot, but plans to play through the injury. Reed wore a
sporting boot during early pre-season workouts, but is now
back at practice. His status for the first game of the
season is uncertain, but since he is not going on the injured
reserve list, it appears the Packers plan to have him back
during the first four weeks of the season. Another Packer
receiver, Christian Watson, is on the Physically Unable to
Perform list, and will miss at least the first four weeks of
the season. Reed is entering the third year of his rookie
contract, and has 119 catches for 1650 yards and 15
touchdowns in his first two NFL seasons.
