Badger free agents make NFL rosters

Two former Wisconsin Badger football players are on NFL 53-
man rosters as the 2025 season begins. Offensive lineman Joe
Huber made the Minnesota Vikings’ roster as an undrafted free
agent, and quarterback Graham Mertz is a member of the
Houston Texans. Mertz will serve as the Texans’ number-three
quarterback behind CJ Stroud and Davis Mills. Huber will be
Minnesota’s backup right guard after grading out as one of
the best run-blocking linemen in the entire NFL during the
preseason schedule.
