Sykes returns to UW-Green Bay staff

Former UW-Green Bay basketball standout Kiefer Sykes will
rejoin the Phoenix program as General Manager. In that role,
Sykes will assist with student-athlete mentorship and
development, recruiting, community and alumni engagement and
fundraising. Sykes was a four-year starter at Green Bay, and
is second on the Phoenix career men’s basketball scoring list
at 2096. He was twice named the Horizon League Player of the
Year, and played several seasons of pro basketball both
overseas and with the NBA Indiana Pacers. Green Bay will
face Bradley, coached by former Green Bay coach Brian Wardle,
in a pre-season game on October 11, and Sykes’ uniform number
24 will be retired prior to that game.
