Packers look to extend Tom

By Gene DeLisio Jul 10, 2025 | 1:06 PM

The Green Bay Packers plan to extend the contract of right tackle Zach
Tom prior to the start of the 2025 season. Tom was a fourth-round
draft pick in 2022, and is entering the final year of his rookie
contract. He was a reserve at both tackle positions and right guard
during his rookie season, and then became the starting right tackle in
2023. Last season, Tom was ranked sixth among NFL right tackles, and
earned the third-most All-Pro votes at his position. Tom should be in
position to command a contract with an average salary of over
$20,000,000 per year.
