Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho of Marshfield is still
sidelined with a hamstring injury, but is now running the bases as he
attempts to return to action. Daulton first suffered the injury in
late May, and was shut down from running in June when he developed some
tightness in the hamstring. He began running again this week. Once
the Blue Jays determine that he is healthy enough, Daulton will receive
a rehab assignment at a minor league affiliate before returning to
major league action.
