The Marshfield Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame will induct five new members this fall. Two are former coaches--volleyball coach Dawn Sadowska, and track and cross country coach John Miner. Sadowska coached the Tiger volleyball team for 30 years, earning seven appearances at the WIAA state tournament between 1998 and 2006. Miner was a coach on several levels of the Tiger cross country and track teams, including head coach of the varsity programs. Other inductees for this year include Chad Fredrick, who was a standout running back on Marshfield's state championship football team in 1997, rushing for 1907 yards and 19 touchdowns that season. Also going into the Hall of Fame this season is Darian Molter, who scored 120 goals for the Tiger girls soccer team between 2011 and 2014. Another new inductee is Ann Pernsteiner, who played volleyball, basketball and softball for the Tigers in the mid 1990's. The induction ceremony will take place at the Marshfield High School Auditorium on Saturday, September 13, between 4:00 and 5:30, with a reception to follow.
