Colby High School's Tucker Hayes will play college basketball next season at Ripon College. Tucker is a 6'7 post player, who averaged 11 points and seven rebounds per game for Colby this season. He also averaged five points per game as a junior, while shooting 61% from the floor. For his efforts, Tucker was all-conference honorable mention in the Eastern Cloverbelt Conference. He is also a member of the WBCA Academic All-State team. Tucker also played tight end for the Colby football team in 2024. The Ripon men's basketball team was 12-13 this season, but that's the first time the Red Hawks have finished below .500 in at least 15 years. Former Athens High School standout Cameron Ford was a senior in the Ripon men's basketball program this season.
